AIC Progetti carried out the Technical Assistance providing a Project Manager, a geotechnical engineer, a road engineer. A preliminary study on bituminous conglomerate rehabilitation has been carried out by a detailed analysis of causes determining pavement deformation, linked both to foundation layers and to the use of soft coral for building the base layer. Then local teams were organized to rehabilitate pavement, by providing vehicles and materials. Works were interrupted by the war in December 1990.
