The project road measures approximately 107 km and starts at Mubende town, passes through Kakumiro and Kibaale towns and ends at Kagadi town. The road traverses through Mubende and Kibaale districts and comprises of the following links;

  1. Mubende - Kakumiro ................... 31km
  2. Kakumiro - Kibaale ...................... 32km
  3. Kibaale - Kagadi ......................... 44km

The design and build works and the works contract involve upgrading of the entire project length to a bituminous standard road.

The main objective of the consultancy service is to review the design and supervise the construction works on behalf of the client throughout the entire contract period by conscientiously fulfilling the role of the Engineer to the highest professional standards to ensure the works are completed with the desired quality, on time and within budget.
