Project description
The objective of the project is to control and supervise the construction and rehabilitation works of the Tassara-Egawane - Tchintabaraden earth road (126 km).
The current track connecting Egawane to Tchintabaraden develops on flat sandy grounds, with rare intercalations of limestone detritus which clearly outcrop near the village of Garoua. After Garoua, the track presents basic improvements (occasional interventions, especially with German cooperation, through NIGETIP). The current track between Egawane and Tassara is made up of a track without any particular development, on mainly sandy soil. The route, extremely flat, develops on essentially sandy soil, with rare shrub vegetation.
