This study consists of carrying out the technical studies and the preparation of Tender Documents (DAO) for the following:
- Asphalting of the road link between the towns of Kananga and Mbujimayi. (about 170 km)
- Rehabilitation of structural roads in the cities of Kananga (11 km), Mbujimayi (14.1 km) and the localities of Mukamba (3.3 km) and Kabeya Muanga (5.7 km), total of 34.1 km;
- Construction of a bridge with a span of about 200 m over the Kasaï River between Kalamba–Mbuji (DRC) and Chikolondo (Angola) This is a reinforced concrete bridge with 6 reinforced concrete beams of 22 m in length. The beams are joined together to have an almost continuous structure in order to have a deck with only 2 joints on the deck
- Construction of a joint border post (DRC-Angola) at Kalamba-Mbuji and Chikolondo, as well as the 1.4 km access road on the DRC side;
- Crossing of the towns of Kananga and Mbuji Mayi.
