The objective of the technical audit is to assess the economic, administrative and technical efficiency of the use of resources and to improve the quality of road construction by the Ministry of Public Works within the Fish Town - Harper Road project. The technical audit will cover the performance of the project during the respective fiscal years, from 2016 to 2020.
The objectives of the road safety audit, at the detailed design stage (step 2), are to identify road safety issues and suggest measures to eliminate or mitigate any concerns by identifying road safety deficiencies in road safety in the current design with the aim of minimizing frequency and severity of avoidable collisions; identify potential risks to road users, including vulnerable road users, which may require special planning and safety measures; ensure that cost-effective solutions and corrective actions for each identified problem to improve safety during construction and operation are fully considered.
