Project Description

The recommended project speed is 40km/h for the first two sections (Aguaytia-San Alejandro (50,5 km) and San Alejandro-Neshuya (50,1 km)) and 50km/h for the third section (Neshuya-Pucallpa (58,8 km)); for all other road sections a surface width of 6.60m and a side embankment width of 1.20m is envisaged for each side.

The three road sections are part of the Huanuco-Tingo Maria-Pucallpa that is the main road connecting the town of Lima to the fluvial harbor of Pucallpa, on the banks of the Ucayali river, to Iquitos town on the Amazon river towards the Atlantic Ocean.

The project included 6 concrete bridges : Huipoca (33,80 m), Chio (33,80 m), Aguaytillo (30,90 m), Tahuayllo (40,70 m) ; Yanayacu (40,70 m) and Abelayoc (30,70 m) and 3 metallic bridges : Guacamayo (50,50 m), San Alejandro (141 m) and Neshuya (50,50 m). The value of works for bridges is Euro 2.800.000,00.

Services Description

Final design for the improvement of the Aguaytia-Pucallpa road. Aerial photogrammetry and cartography, geometrization of the existing layout according to new design
parameters, traffic study, hydrologic and hydraulic study, review and design of
11 bridges, HDM 3 economic study, preparation of tender documents, design and
preparation of tender documents for a toll station.
