Project Description

The works will be carried out in a single lot and include: Realization of borrow pit embankments, supply and realization of base course and foundation in laterite gravel improved with cement, supply and realization of coarse aggregates of 0/31,5 for base course and shoulders, on site recycling of existing base course and shoulders, supply and realization of asphalt concrete, supply and realization of bitumen for repairing the existing road, supply and realization of a single wearing course over the whole width.

A variant solution is envisaged on the Save-Parakou section, from Ch 297 to Ch 369, consisting in on site recycling and improvement of 3% of cement of the existing base course and covering layer over a depth of 20 cm and a width of 7,5 m, the realization of a new base course of 15 cm in crushed gravel 0/31,5 over a width of 10m, the application of a single course over 10m and a 4cm-thick course of bituminous concrete over a width of 7m.
