Project Description

Rehabilitation of the Kissidougou-Gueckedou-Macenta-Seredou road (approximately 208 km), section of the RN2 road linking Mamou to N’Zérékoré. The study includes a detailed evaluation of the nature and quantities of works to be carried out for the rehabilitation or improvement of the road. The design concerned the renovation of an arterial road of vital importance for the traffic towards Sierra Leone and Liberia. There were heavy damages due to collapses in opencuts and to an inefficient water system: it was difficult to travel the road. The survey has been carried out on the whole alignment and concerned the investigation on the road with collection of undisturbed samples to be submitted to laboratory tests, a deflectometric survey by the Falling Weight Deflectometer (FWD), a study of plano-altimetric variants, an analysis of landslide, the technical-economic definition of interventions, drawing out of Tender Documents (drawings, bill of quantities, technical specifications).

Services Description
