Project Description

The works concern the following section: Package A – Busega-Nsangi (12 km) and Kamengo-Lukaya (51 km) between Kampala and Masaka.

Rehabilitation of the carriageway (widening to 11 meters), including the construction of 11 meters of sub-base (17 cm) and base (25 cm) in graded aggregates; the construction of 7 meters of asphalt base (DBM) of 10 cm and asphalt concrete coating of 5 cm; and a surface dressing treatment of shoulders.

The works included also urban crossings and swamps treatment in rockfill.
