Project Description

The works include the construction of two sections of the road KEDOUGOU-SARAYA of 61 km and SARAYA FALEME of 21,35 km. The works are financed by the African Development Bank.

The works include also the longitudinal rehabilitation (ditch cleaning, channel and ditches realization, kerbs, etc.), as well as the realization of horizontal and vertical signs and equipments (sings, kilometric chainage, etc.) and the realization of environmental measures.

Services Description

The points to arrange with the enterprise are :

-          General organization of the enterprise as indicated in the Tender: staff and materials;

-          Detailed planning of works, including the detailed planning of embankment execution plans, static calculations and structures design ;

-          Site facilities installation;

-          Quality and origin of construction materials;

-          Laboratory tests planning;

-          Borrow pit deposit and quarries to use;

-          Measures to preserve circulation and guarantee road security;

-          Environmental protection measures and carrying out of « Environmental Management Plan »;

-          Quality Assurance Plan;

-          Creation of the Setting-up plan ;

-          Review of the Technical Dossier;

-          Safety and setting-up plan;

-          Works supervision.

AIC Progetti, Leader of the joint venture, provided for the following personnel for the mission : road engineer team leader, geotechnician, support staff for geotechnical and topographical teams, laboratory staff.

The works were regularly carried out according to contractual delays and envisaged amount.
