The road has a length of approximately 42 km and links the town of Qukes with Progradec. It develops among altitudes between 700 m and 1200 m with a mountainous track.
The road includes 28 viaducts and 1 natural tunnel.
The cross section is 10,50 m wide.
Pavement layer: Crushed stone sub base 30cm; bituminous base course 10cm; Binder course 6cm; wearing course 5cm.
The project is particularly complex due to the morphology of the area that required the use of retaining walls on long sections.
Structure foundations are both on piles and surface.
