Project Description

Rehabilitation of road network and drainage works of the town of Kinshasa. The envisaged intervention covers approximately 40 km of roads: L.D. Kabila 9,50 km; Mokali 7 km; Gambela 3,10 km; Elengesa 4,30 km; Kianza-Bakali 2,75 km; Railway road 2,10 km; University road 9,25 km; Police station road (Kiyimbi bridge excluded) 1.20 km.

The designs carried out between 1991 and 2001 include the realization of important rehabilitation works of roads and drainage system in order to improve the main traffic network of the town of Kinshasa.

Services Description

Update and elaboration of technical designs and Tender documents. Topographic surveys, geotechnical study, laboratory tests, hydraulic study. Earthworks, traffic signs study, geotechnical analysis, computation on works dimensioning, topographic study.

The control mission was composed by a road engineer team leader, an hydraulic engineer and a geotechnician. A topographic team completed the involved staff.
