Project Description

The specific objective of the project is the rehabilitation of roads in the town of Goma, in the North Kivu region, to help improve the economic, social and security conditions of the populations.

 

The contract consists of the control of the rehabilitation works necessary to complete the following sections:

  • Avenue de la Résidence, from the crossroads with RN2 to Kibarabara Avenue of 3.76 km
  • The RN2 from ch 19 + 300 to ch 23 + 800, entrance to the village of Saké, 4.5 km
  • The Sake crossing, 1.71 km
  • Repairs to degraded sections since work was stopped by CFC-Sobetra.

 

It is also a matter of ensuring that the work is carried out according to the technical specifications of the works contract, according to the rules of the art, on time and on budget.

 

Road project geometry:

  • Total road length: 10,0  km
  • Carriageway width: 10-15  m
  • Shoulders width: 1-2,5 m

  • Earthworks (fill/cut): 000 m3
  • Sub-base : 000 m3
  • Base course : 000 m3
  • Wearing course 000 m3

Structures:

  • Culverts (box/pipe): 11 box culverts

Services Description

Ensure the control and supervision of road works in the city of Goma (10 km). Enforce the technical requirements and other clauses of the works contract; Accept the work carried out according to the rules of the art and on time.
