The cross section of the Salerno-Reggio Calabria Highway is composed by two 3.75m large dual-carriageways, a central reserve guaranteeing the material separation in both directions, composed by two 0.70 m large kerbstones and a midway of 2.60 m. The total width of the central reserve is 4.00 m.
The shoulder includes an emergency lane of 3.00 m and an external section of 1.00 m. The total width of the road is 25 m.
It is characterized by the construction of a two-way tunnel of approximately 890 m in length, and one steel-concrete bridge with a span of 50m.
