Object of the intervention are two bridges located along the SS62, at km 33+500 and km 52+100 respectively.
These bridges require structural rehabilitation interventions and the installation of safety barriers compliant with the regulations.
The bridge at km 33+500 is located in the municipality of Filattiera. The bridge has 2 masonry arches crossing the Tarasco Canal.
The roadway has a width of approximately 7.8 m.
The bridge at km 52+100 is located in the municipality of Pontremoli. The bridge consists of an older masonry arch which was extended at a later time on the mountain side with a reinforced concrete slab on masonry shoulders to widen the roadway. The roadway is approximately 8.45 m wide.
On the bridge at km 33+500, the parapet wall on the valley side and the barrier and sidewalk behind the mountain side have been demolished. A concrete slab is created across the entire width of the bridge, adequately sized to withstand the thrusts transmitted by the design barriers in the event of a vehicle impact.
On the external edges, H2 barriers are installed on the edge of the bridge, sized based on the traffic volumes of the road. The barriers are made in corten steel and laminated wood for better integration into the landscape.
On the bridge at km 52+100, the deck of the existing structure has been partially demolished and a reinforced concrete slab supporting the existing one has been realized, on which the design barriers suitable for current legislation are installed.
On the external edges, H2 barriers are installed on the edge of the bridge, sized based on the traffic volumes of the road. The barriers are made of corten steel and laminated wood for better integration into the landscape.
