The N’Djamena-Guelengdeng-Bongor-Ere-Kelo-Moundou-Cameroon border road, with a total length of 592,9 km, is an asphalt paved road . The works concern the routine or extraordinary maintenance works aimed at improving and maintaining the serviceability of the roads rehabilitation works. It will be adjusted carrying out rehabilitation and maintenance works, with a contract like Gestion et Entretien par Niveau de Service (management and maintenance per service level).
Section from N’Djamena to Guélengdeng, length 144.4 km ; operation year 2007.
Platform width 9.00m, carriageway width 7.00m, shoulders 2x1.00m; pavement : double surface asphalt treatment.
Section Kelo-Koutou, length 314.0 km ; operation year 2004
Platform width 9.00m, carriageway width 7.00m shoulders 2x1.00m; pavement : double surface asphalt treatment.
Section crossing and by-pass of Moundou and Koutou-Cameroon border, length 134.5 km ; operation year 2006.
Platform width 9.00m, carriageway width 7.00m, shoulders 2x1.00m; pavement : double surface asphalt treatment.
The project is divided in two lots :
Lot 1 :
a) Maintenance of the sections Kélo – Koutou, crossing and by-pass of Moundou, Koutou – Cameroon border
b) Reconstruction of the pavement en double surface asphalt treatment of the section Bongor - Kelo
Lot 2 :
a) Maintenance of the section N’Djamena – Mailao , Mailao – Guelengdeng
b) Rehabilitation of the pavement in double surface asphalt treatment of the section Guelengdeng
Services Description
Consultant activities include: Control and supervision of rehabilitation works of Guelengdeng – Bongor and Bongor - Ere – Kélo roads; Assistance during guarantee period; Participation together with the auto-control unit of the enterprise to operations envisaged by the contract Gestion et Entretien par Niveau de Service (management and maintenance per service level); Support to the Administration during works execution; Training of the personnel of the Ministry of Infrastructures on yard and in N’Djamena; Control and supervision of adjustment and emergency works; Control and supervision of construction works and of weighting area equipment.
